Terms of Use
These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the terms for using αClinic: a practice's use of αClinic is governed by the agreement we sign with that practice, which takes precedence over anything here.
Using this site
You're welcome to read this site, share links to it and get in touch. Please don't try to break it: no scraping at a scale that degrades it for others, no attempts to gain access you're not entitled to, and nothing unlawful.
What's on the site
These pages describe αClinic and how it works. They're written to inform, not to form a contract, and they are not medical, legal, billing or compliance advice. αClinic does not make medical decisions; licensed professionals at each practice remain responsible for clinical judgement and for every signature.
Illustrations, examples and estimates
We try to be exact about what is real and what isn't.
- Illustrations. The scenes, characters, charts and product views on this site are drawn illustrations, not screenshots of the product.
- Names and records. Every patient, physician, staff member, sender and record shown is fictional.
- Examples. Figures shown as examples, such as the whole-morning view and the chiefs' stories, are illustrative and not results from a real practice.
- Estimates. The cost figures are one practice's own estimates of its situation before αClinic, attributed on the page. The calculator gives an estimate from your inputs, not a promise.
- Features in stages. Some capabilities roll out in stages after a pilot, and the page says so where they appear.
Nothing here is a promise of a particular outcome for your practice.
HIPAA
There is no official HIPAA certification, and we don't claim one. The commitments described under "Built for HIPAA" are the controls we put in place for each practice, set out in the agreement and Business Associate Agreement we sign with that practice.
Intellectual property
The content, design, code and marks on this site belong to Zero One Alpha LLC or its licensors, including the α glyph, αClinic, α Intelligence and the other α product names. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not copy the site, reuse its design, or use our marks in a way that suggests an endorsement or partnership that doesn't exist. Photographs are used under licence. Third-party names belong to their owners.
Enquiries you send us
Please send only what you're entitled to share, and never patient information. Unless we've signed a confidentiality agreement, we can't treat an unsolicited message as confidential, though we'll handle it sensibly and in line with our Privacy Policy. If you send an idea or suggestion, you're giving us permission to consider and use it without owing you anything for it.
Links to other sites
Where we link elsewhere, we don't control what's there and aren't responsible for it.
Availability
We keep the site up, but we don't promise it will be available without interruption or that every page will always be current. We may change, move or remove pages at any time.
Liability
This website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about them. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
